and bookshelves. These items that are not included in a general category of furniture are designed on a one at a time
basis for a specific client. As with all other furniture, wood is selected per job based on color, grain pattern, and
moisture content. Items such as the alder and purpleheart train table take a very common item and turn it into an
extraordinary piece. The coat racks are 100% solid wood, including the hooks. Taking a common piece of hardware and
making it out of wood takes away the distraction of trying to match the finish of the hardware to the wood and gives it
a sense of completion.
