End Tables

End tables made from black walnut with a walnut burl veneered top. Turned legs are attached to the laminated aprons with mortise and tenon joinery. Curved drawer with laminated front. The veneered top is made by using hot hide glue to adhere to veneer to the substrate. This method is rarely used today due to modern vacuum presses and cold press glues. They are finished with a dark walnut stain and multiple coats of hand applied polyurethane.
